Who We Are

UR Amazing Ministries is a registered charity focused on programs for children and youth in the city of Lethbridge. Our aim is to raise the social competence in Lethbridge's high risk children aged 6 - 18 years to enable them to:

Have fun and learn to love one another

Seek help when needed, and take advice when given

Contribute to their communities through running and participating in city programs

Constructively handle conflict at school and home

Make good healthy choices for themselves

Develop their leadership skills

Our History

UR Amazing Ministries came from the Westminster Chapel Presbyterian Church children's program. Rohan and Rebecca Crown were called by Westminster in 2007, and have since planted Amazing Grace Community Church. The children's programs grew to serving more than 80 children, and moved into the community through the Amazing Kids program. Rohan and Rebecca became involved in Westminster School and the playground refurbishment project, and the local YMCA, to develop connections within the community and local businesses and programs , and expand their programs into a multi-dimensional approach to childhood and youth development. In 2016, UR Amazing Ministries achieved registered charity status.

About The Crowns

The Crowns

Rohan and Rebecca Crown had a wealth of youth ministry experience before they met at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. Rebecca 's training included mission trips to Latvia, Moscow, and Brazil, as well as inner-city missions work in Macon, Georgia. They both attained a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education before going to the seminary where they met, and Rohan earned his Masters of Divinity, and Rebecca finished her class requirements towards a Masters of Missions and Biblical Studies. Rohan was then employed as a math teacher and physical education instructor at Desire Street Academy, in New Orleans' Lower Ninth Ward in Louisiana, and Rebecca volunteered with him.
